# True Value Rankings (TVR) # https://truevaluerankings.com # Last updated: 2026-04-15 # Measuring value, not what's trending ## What is TVR? True Value Rankings is a cryptocurrency research and scoring platform. It evaluates cryptocurrencies using a proprietary 8-metric scoring system rooted in Sound Value principles: scarcity, decentralization, utility, and long-term sustainability. TVR's scoring model produces a composite TVR Score (0-100). TVR's valuation formula produces a TVR Estimated Value (fair value estimate) and a Valuation Category (Undervalued, Fair Value, or Overvalued) for each cryptocurrency. TVR's rankings order coins by the gap between estimated value and market price. TVR is fully independent. It accepts no sponsorships, no project funding, and no paid listings. Revenue comes from premium subscriptions. ## The 8 Scoring Metrics Each cryptocurrency is scored 0-100 on each metric. Scores are combined using a proprietary formula that accounts for the relative importance of each metric. Significant weaknesses in heavily weighted areas carry more impact than strengths elsewhere. - Economic Model (weight: 47) - Network Security & Reliability (weight: 20) - Adoption & Network Effects (weight: 15) - Privacy & Fungibility (weight: 5) - Longevity (Lindy Effect) (weight: 8) - Market Liquidity (weight: 10) - Legal Clarity & Institutional Adoption (weight: 5) - Technical Development (weight: 5) ## Methodology Full methodology documentation: https://truevaluerankings.com/how-it-works.html TVR's scoring model evaluates fundamental quality. TVR's valuation formula estimates fair value by comparing quality to market capitalization share. All outputs are model-derived assessments for informational and educational purposes, not financial advice. ## Understanding Valuation Data A large fair value gap does not predict near-term price movement. It reflects the distance between a coin's fundamental quality rating and its current market capitalization share. C
