# SheetRender
> SheetRender turns a spreadsheet plus one example document into a separate, print-ready PDF for every row. It is mail merge that ends in individual files instead of one long document. You upload the data, show one finished document as the example, and download or email the whole batch.
Data comes in as a CSV, Excel (.xlsx or .xlsm) or tab-separated upload, or from a Google Sheets tab. Two Google Sheets formats carry over: a ZIP code that reads 02134 keeps its leading zero, and 25% arrives as 25 rather than 0.25. Other number formats, such as currency, come from the template. Each row becomes its own PDF, or rows that share a value such as an invoice number become one document that lists them as line items. The template is generated from an example document: a PDF, a Word .docx, a web page, a screenshot or a photo of a printed page. With no example, the user answers a few questions about the document or picks a starting style. There are no merge fields to place and no drag-and-drop builder.
Delivery: download the batch file by file, as a zip or as one merged PDF; email each row's PDF to an address column; or save the files to a Google Drive folder. Schedules (from the Starter plan) run hourly, daily, weekly or monthly, down to every 15 minutes on Pro and Business, and can email each row, mail the merged PDF to one address, or save to Drive on their own. A schedule on a Google Sheets spreadsheet connected in the web app pulls the latest rows before each run; data sent from the add-on or uploaded as a file is reused as it is until it is sent or uploaded again. Every schedule has a private trigger URL, so Zapier, Make or your own code can start a run with a POST. When a batch finishes, SheetRender can POST a webhook signed with HMAC-SHA256 (X-SheetRender-Signature header) with download links for the files.
The Google Sheets add-on is in the Google Workspace Marketplace (workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/sheetrender/660866533736): send a tab from th
