# Rebyte
> Rebyte runs AI agents (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, Rebyte) inside persistent cloud VMs called Agent Computers. Every plan ships unlimited agent computers; compute bills at $0.10/hr active and $0 idle; Team plan is $20 per seat per month. The strict mapping is 1 Workspace = 1 Agent Computer; tasks inside a workspace share that VM. Channels: Slack, Telegram, Lark, WeChat, Email. Public API at https://api.rebyte.ai/v1/. Pricing at https://rebyte.ai/pricing.

## Pricing & Plans
### How much does Rebyte cost?
Rebyte has three plans: Personal ($0, daily free usage with pay-as-you-go credits), Team ($20 per seat per month), and Enterprise (custom). Every plan includes unlimited agent computers, every supported agent (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, Rebyte), and every model. Concurrency is not a billing axis. See https://rebyte.ai/pricing.
### Is there a free tier?
Yes. The Personal plan is $0 with daily free usage on every AI agent — no credit card required. When you outgrow the daily free quota, pay-as-you-go covers compute and model tokens at provider rates. Upgrade to Team ($20 per seat per month) for full history, snapshots, private skills, Agent Context connectors, and BYOK.
### How does Rebyte bill compute?
Compute is metered by agent-computer runtime: $0.10/hour while a task is active, $0 when idle. Agent computers auto-pause when they go idle and auto-resume on the next connect, so you only pay for time a task is actually running. Every task shows compute, model, and data-service charges line-by-line.
### How does model token billing work?
Model tokens bill at provider rates with no Rebyte markup. On Personal you pay through Rebyte credits.
