# Quality Clouds Documentation
> Technical documentation for Quality Clouds, the independent governance layer for human and AI-generated code across enterprise SaaS platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and AI-native development environments). Quality Clouds connects to enterprise platforms via official REST APIs using read-only access. It analyses metadata and code elements (never transactional or business data), applies hundreds of best-practice rules plus customer-defined custom rules, and enforces governance through Quality Gates integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
