# Qovia
> Qovia is a public web data API for AI agents and developers: 143 HTTP endpoints for social, e-commerce and web platforms (live today: Douyin, Kuaishou, Bilibili, Douyin Xingtu, Tieba, Zhihu, WeChat Official Accounts & Channels, Xiaohongshu (RedNote), Xiaohongshu Pugongying, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X (Twitter), Reddit, Weibo, Toutiao, Taobao & Tmall, JD.com, Fliggy, Cili Juxing, Huahuo), one API key, one JSON envelope, and you only pay for successful calls that return data.
- Base URL: https://api.qovia.ai
- Auth: `Authorization: Bearer <API key>` (or `x-api-key: <API key>`). Keys look like `sk-qovia-` plus 43 letters and digits; create them at https://qovia.ai/console/?tab=keys
- Requests: GET endpoints take query parameters, POST endpoints a JSON object body. Unknown parameters are rejected with 400 invalid_params.
- Responses: HTTP 200 with `{"request_id", "data", "meta"}`; `meta.billed`, `meta.charged_usd` and `meta.empty` report the charge. An empty result is still 200 with `meta.empty: true` and `data` empty or null. Errors are `{"error": {"code", "message", "request_id", "support"}}` and are never charged; branch on `code`. `/v1` only takes GET and POST: other methods (e.g. PUT, DELETE) get a framework 405 `{"detail": "Method Not Allowed"}`, and an unexpected server error may be a plain-text 500. Neither is charged.
- Billing (USD): a new account gets 50 trial calls on any endpoint (meta.trial_calls_remaining counts down); after that, a prepaid balance. Only successful, non-empty results are charged. search: $5 per 1k calls. raw: $1.5 per 1k calls, $1 after 5,000,000 billed calls a month. Fixed-price endpoints say so below.
- Rate limits: 60 requests per minute per account (600 after the first top-up). Some endpoints also have a global per-second cap (429 endpoint_busy). Always honour Retry-After.
- Machine-readable spec: https://qovia.ai/openapi.json (OpenAPI 3.1)
- MCP server: https://api.qovia.ai/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Send the same API key
