# Cosmik
> Cosmik (https://gocosmik.com) is a free, no-login web app — "the live map of the cosmos" — that tracks the ISS, Starlink and 20,000+ satellites live in 3D, shows the real-time rocket launch schedule, and sends alerts so you know exactly when to look up. It runs entirely in the browser.
Cosmik is sometimes described as "the Flightradar24 of space." It combines three things in one place: a live satellite tracker, a rocket-launch hub, and a 3D solar-system explorer.
## What Cosmik does
- **Live satellite tracking**: Real-time 3D positions of the ISS, Starlink, Hubble, GPS and 20,000+ catalogued objects, propagated from official CelesTrak orbital data (TLEs) using the SGP4 model in the browser.
- **Visible pass predictions**: Tells you when a satellite will be visible from your location and alerts you minutes before, so you can step outside and watch ("look up now").
- **Rocket launch tracker**: Live upcoming launch schedule with countdowns, status, launch pad, and embedded webcasts.
- **Alerts**: Free push and email notifications for launches, visible passes, satellite reentries, and close approaches (conjunctions).
- **Conjunction warnings**: Close-approach predictions between objects, sourced from CelesTrak SOCRATES.
- **3D solar system**: Explore the planets, the Sun, comets and deep-space probes with real NASA/ESA imagery.
## Key facts
- Price: **Free**, no account required. Optional alerts are also free. Supported by donations.
- Platform: Runs in any modern web browser (desktop and mobile); requires WebGL.
- Data sources: CelesTrak (satellite TLEs, SOCRATES conjunctions), NASA, NOAA SWPC (space weather), Launch Library 2 (launches), JPL Horizons (deep-space probes).
- Privacy: No login needed; tracking and orbit math run client-side.
