# FalcoScan
> AI market intelligence for founders, product managers and investors. Every AI market scored for opportunity and saturation, from a catalog of AI products that FalcoScan maintains and checks for whether each one is still running.
FalcoScan (falcoscan.com) is not related to Falco Scan (falcoscan.net), a Spanish-language manga translation group, or to Falco, the open-source runtime security project.
FalcoScan tracks 7,685 AI products across 29 markets, as of data updated 7 October 2026. 7,313 are operating, 257 have shut down and 114 were acquired.
Each product carries an opportunity score, a saturation score and a wrapper risk score (each 0 to 100), an editorial momentum label (hot, rising, stable or declining), and whether it is still running. Free product pages show each score as a band (for example high opportunity, crowded market); the exact scores are on paid plans and through the FalcoScan API and MCP server. Market-level scores are free. The methodology is public.
## What FalcoScan covers
- Opportunity, saturation, wrapper share and Market Heat for every AI market
- Per-product scores: opportunity, saturation, wrapper risk and Tool Heat (bands on free pages, exact scores on paid plans, the API and the MCP server)
- Whether each product is operating, shut down or acquired
- Pricing model, free tier, API availability, funding stage, founding year and headquarters, where known
- The Pulse, a weekly read on what moved, and the Rising 10, a monthly ranking
## What FalcoScan does not cover
- Investment advice
- Company revenue figures
- Launch dates. The date a product entered the catalog is not the date it launched.
- Measured growth rates. Momentum is an editorial label, not a growth rate.
