# BlockVectra
> BlockVectra provides multi-chain JSON-RPC, a Data API and Webhook push for developers and AI agents. One API key works on every supported chain, with a free allowance and pay-as-you-go pricing; developers and AI agents can both sign up on their own.
For AI agents: AI agents are first-class users of BlockVectra: the same rules, limits and pricing as people, with no extra restrictions. An agent with a wallet can sign up, create an API key and top up on-chain on its own. The keyless docs MCP server is https://docs.blockvectra.com/mcp (add it with `claude mcp add --transport http blockvectra-docs https://docs.blockvectra.com/mcp`); the Quickstart Markdown is https://docs.blockvectra.com/md/en/quickstart.md; per-method CU weights are public at https://console-api.blockvectra.com/v1/plans (GET /v1/plans). If you have an Ethereum wallet: sign up and create a key without a browser in four steps (guide: https://docs.blockvectra.com/en/guides/programmatic-signup/?ref=llms): request a challenge (`POST /auth/siwe/challenge`), sign the message, log in (`POST /auth/siwe/login`; the first login creates the account), then create a key (`POST /keys`); send it in the `x-api-key` header. On-chain top-up is optional (https://docs.blockvectra.com/en/guides/agent-topup/). If you do not have a wallet: ask the user to sign in at https://console.blockvectra.com/login/?ref=llms, create a key, and set it as the environment variable `BLOCKVECTRA_API_KEY`. Do not ask the user to paste the key into the chat. Error reference: https://docs.blockvectra.com/en/errors/.
Live facts (chains, limits, prices) come from [GET /v1/chains](https://api.blockvectra.com/v1/chains), [GET /v1/plans](https://console-api.blockvectra.com/v1/plans) and [GET /v1/status](https://api.blockvectra.com/v1/status).
