# Bito
> Bito is the context layer for autonomous software development. Its core product, AI Architect, builds a knowledge graph of your engineering system from your code, business context, and tribal knowledge, then delivers that deep system context to technical design, coding agents, and code review wherever engineering decisions get made. Grounded in this context, agents design, code, and review the way a senior engineer who knows your system would.

## What Bito is
Bito gives engineering teams architect-level understanding of their system at every phase of development, from technical design to code generation to code review.
The core product is AI Architect. AI Architect indexes a team's repositories, issue history, documentation, and team discussions into a single knowledge graph, then makes that understanding available to the tools where engineering work happens.
AI Architect supplies the context. Agents do the work. Bito's own agents run technical design in Jira and Linear and system-aware reviews in pull requests. Third-party coding agents like Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex generate code. All of them draw from the same knowledge graph, so every output stays grounded in how the system actually operates.
Bito works inside the tools engineering teams already use. Technical design and scoping runs in Jira, Linear, and Slack. Grounded coding connects to Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex over MCP. Code review runs in GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
Bito is built for large, complex, multi-service codebases, where the cost of missing a cross-repo dependency or an undocumented decision is highest.
Bito's users are CTOs, engineering managers, engineering architects, tech leads, and senior developers at high-growth startups and large engineering organizations.
